بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
There is no god, but Allah, the One without companion, the Creator, the Sustainer, the Guide. All good comes from Allah and all evil that we experience is from our evil deeds. He has sent His chosen ones, His guides—the Prophets—as a mercy to all of creation and particularly to His creation possessing intellect—Jinn and Mankind. He sent our Master Muhammad as the last and seal of all Prophets. Allah bless and grant peace upon our Master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions until the day all debts fall due.
It is our great pleasure to offer to you our websites Abunashaykh.com and Tariqahalkaamilah.com. Abuna shaykh means “our father, the teacher”. The purpose of our websites is to introduce the visitor to what our teachers have given us.
Our teachers are the knowers of Allah—the first being Sayyiduna Muhammad. Age after age contained these enlightened masters, these teachers who passed on the light of knowledge of Allah until this age. At a certain point in the history of this transmission, these men came to be known as the Sufis and their knowledge, tasawwuf.
We are followers of Sufis whose principle way or tariqah is that of Shaykh Abdal-Qadir al-Jilani. Our branch of this great and vast way is through Shaykh Abd al-Baqi al-Mukashfi and his inheritor, Shaykh Muhammad Ahmad al-Mahi, known as Shaykh Muhammad al-Bukhari. Presently, his son, Shaykh Abd al-Qadir al-Jayli al-Mahi is the khalifah—the leader, teacher and custodian.
Our tariqah is called “Tariqat al-Kamilah”—the Complete Way. Its roots originate not only from the way of Shaykh Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani, but also from the ways and methods of Shaykh Ahmad al-Rufa’i, Shaykh Ahmad al-Badawi and Shaykh Ibrahim al-Dusuqi. These four are the roots of all tariqahs.
We are upholders of the din (religion) as practiced by Ahl Sunna wa Jama’a. In its history there have been many teachers of tasawwuf. Starting with Sayyiduna Muhammad, the light of knowledge of Allah has been passed on until it has reached our age. We recognize that this inheritance exists among all the recognized tariqahs of Tasawwuf—the Qadiri, Naqshabandi, Shadhili, Tijani, etc.
Our shaykh, Shaykh Abd al-Qadir al-Jayli, has permission to take students on many of these paths. He has idhn (permission) to teach the Qadiri, Shadhili, Tijani, Naqshbandi, Samani and al-‘Arousiya ways to students who wish to travel those paths.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, who has granted us success in accompanying our Sufi masters. May Allah reward them with the best of rewards for what they have given to Islam and the Muslims. They are the ones who came to know Allah by their great efforts. Allah guided them to loving Him and we, in turn, follow them in their guidance. We ask Allah to gather the hearts into His love and the love of His Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
In conclusion, we ask that the praise be for Allah, Lord of the worlds, and that Allah send blessings and peace upon our Master Muhammad and upon his family and companions. There is no strength or power except with Allah.
